He was running just a little behind that night, because he had taken the wrong bus. On Thursday, October 19th, at approximately 8pm, a 20 year old autistic man named Anthony Naiboa was on his way home from work. Just over a week later, the killer struck again. Police verified only that she had experienced “upper body trauma.” This time, there were no witnesses to describe the suspect.

That Friday morning, a full day and a half after the incident, a city landscaping crew mowing an overgrown field came across the body of Monica Hoffa. Police were called, and they, too, could find no evidence of a shooting. One resident, Romano Whitley, came outside and looked around, but didn’t see anything wrong. Locals reported hearing multiple gunshots on Wednesday, October 11th, at right around 9pm Eastern. According to her father, on the night she was murdered, Miss Hoffa had shared an Uber with a co-worker, then texted a friend who lived nearby and made plans to walk the three blocks to their house. In this case, the victim was a 32 year old white female named Monica Hoffa. The second victim of the Seminole Heights Slayer was killed just a couple of days later. Below is the exact spot where the shooting happened, and this vicious murder spree began. Mitchell was waiting at a bus stop near the corner of North 15th Street and Frierson Avenue in Tampa. They believed him to be in his early 20s, and described him wearing a dark coat with a hood. Witnesses saw a man fleeing the scene on foot. Unfortunately, his injuries were just too great, and he passed away a short time later. A call for help was made, and the young man was rushed to the hospital. It was then that he found Benjamin laying on the ground, fighting for his life.
Yahreal Bey, a gentleman who lives near the scene, reported hearing popping sounds, and ran outside to see what had happened. While waiting, he was approached by someone he likely did not know. He was planning to walk his girlfriend home because he didn’t want her walking home alone at that time of night. Benjamin Mitchell, a 22 year old black man studying business at a local community college, was waiting on a HARTline bus near Frierson Avenue. It began at about 9pm Eastern on Monday, October 9th.
